NowNet Arts Ensemble performs contemporary network arts works by composer Sarah Weaver for pioneering musicians in New York and internationally performing together live via the internet. With collaborations spanning over sixteen years in network arts, NowNet Arts Ensemble expresses works at the forefront of the medium and artistic interconnection. Synthesis Series is a collection of solo, chamber, and large ensemble pieces on contemplative concepts of networked synchrony and synthesis activation. The pieces utilize composition, improvisation, gestures, time alignments, and the individual musical languages of the performers. NowNet Arts Ensemble works with performance-quality network arts technology including JackTrip audio.
