NowNet Arts Conference is an annual event for artists, technologists, researchers, educators, and industry professionals advancing topics in contemporary network arts for the ongoing development of the field. The theme for our 7th annual conference "Network Arts Aesthetics" explores this core topic of the medium. What does the distribution of time and space in performance create in aesthetics? How do these aesthetics situate network arts in the wider artistic field? How does the technology co-create aesthetics? What are the cultural aspects of aesthetics across multiple locations? The NowNet Arts Conference 2024 presents papers, panels, presentations, workshops, and performance demonstrations that feature this topic and generate new innovations for this work forward.
